Join the Infrastructure and Reporting Analytics team for an exciting role to support the Consumer Bank organization. You will have the opportunity to work closely on new business initiatives to support the integration of new modernization infrastructure efforts into the ledger and downstream finance systems, as well as support ad hoc data analysis.
As an Associate in the Infrastructure and Reporting Analytics team, you will support the reporting and analysis of consumer deposits for the Firm while partnering with Product Teams, SEC Reporting, Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Regulatory Reporting, line of business deposit controllers, technology, and other groups within the Firm. You will oversee the data and finance requirements for new consumer business initiatives, with a focus on end-to-end controls, and drive relationship management with product teams for new product and infrastructure development. Additionally, you will work on various business integration initiatives that involve streamlining processes, building best practices for data analysis and retrieval utilizing technical skills with tools such as Alteryx, SQL, or Tableau. In this role, you will gain a deep understanding of consumer deposits, overdrafts, and other products, deposits systems, controls, and a basic understanding regulatory guidance.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish strong relationships and provide support to Consumer Product and related control groups
- Collaborate with technology and control partners to ensure that reporting processes and solutions meet risk and control standards.
- Escalate issues constructively and present complex information in a clear and concise manner to Management
- Test data solutions for alignment of results to submissions/manual processes
- Distribute and create reporting as necessary to various stakeholders
- Manage relationship between technology, and management team, to outline timelines and milestones to align reporting with target end state
- Provide timeline outlines and project management for new product development
- Utilize tools available to streamline processes and create efficiencies where possible
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information systems, Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Process Management, or related experience
- Proficient in SQL, Python, or other coding language
- Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience with data analysis and creating reporting
- Ability to grasp concepts quickly, develop a plan, and execute for results
- Solid problem solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills
- Ability to summarize large amounts of data, formulate a concise message, and communicate clearly to Management
- Strong project management, multitasking and organizational skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- JIRA, Alteryx, or Tableau skills
- Experience with SAP, and Hyperion Essbase or Dodeca
- Experience with regulatory reporting
