  • Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer

Location: Rochester

  • Salary: Circa £45,000 dependent on experience

What You’Ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting project teams concerning Quality Assurance tasks and activities including planning, conducting, reporting and effective communication of Quality Assurance tasks and activities internally and externally with customers
  • Leading junior members of the Quality Assurance department in conducting tasks and activities as well as supporting their development in quality sciences

Your Skills And Experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience working in a Quality role under ES9100 (advantageous) or ISO9001 (minimum) certified business
  • Proficiency of First Article Inspections to AS9102 or similar type of activity
  • Experience in undertaking technical drawing and document reviews and configuration management
  • Experience in leading complex Root Cause & Corrective Action investigations and the use of quality sciences

Desirable:

  • Experience in working with Software
  • Experience in the following compliance procedures: APR 4754 / ARP 4761 Systems / Safety, DO-178C Software, DO-254 Complex Electronics
  • Previous experience in electronic products

The Quality Assurance Team:

As part of the Quality Assurance Team, you will be implementing the internal Quality Assurance strategy for development projects. This opportunity enables someone with existing Systems, Software and Hardware development experience to gain knowledge and experience of Aerospace standards, in the quality assurance role within the product development lifecycle.

This opportunity will allow you to gain knowledge and experience in the Quality Assurance role within the development lifecycle programme for Safety Critical Systems including processes for Requirements Management, Product Design, Implementation, Verification and Validation.
