Audio ML Engineer, Codec Avatars

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Audio ML Engineer to join our team. As an Audio ML Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models that enable audio-related applications such as audio-driven face animations and multi-modal face animations in 2D and 3D. You will work closely with our research and product teams to develop and implement state-of-the-art audio processing algorithms and machine learning models.Audio ML Engineer, Codec Avatars Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for audio-related applications

Collaborate with research team to develop and implement state-of-the-art audio processing algorithms and machine learning models

Work with large datasets of audio recordings to train and test machine learning models

Develop and maintain software tools and libraries for audio processing and machine learning

Optimize machine learning models for deployment on various hardware platforms

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio ML models into larger systems

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in audio processing and machine learning

Mentor engineers and contribute to the growth of the team

Take ownership of complex projects and drive them to completion

Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

3+ years of experience in machine learning and audio processing

Programming skills in languages such as Python and/or C++

Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras

Knowledge of audio processing techniques such as Fourier analysis, filter design, and signal processing

Experience with audio datasets and annotation tools

Problem-solving skills and able to work independently

Communication and collaboration skills

Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience in machine learning and audio processing

Experience with cloud-based machine learning platforms such as AWS SageMaker or Google Cloud AI Platform

Knowledge of containerization using Docker

Familiarity with agile development methodologies

Experience with version control systems such as Git

Knowledge of multiple programming languages

Experience with audio-related patents or publications
