To remain a recognized leader, we are seeking a Senior AP Accountant that is an excellent communicator, has strong interpersonal skills and can work in a fast-paced environment providing the best customer experience. We are looking for someone who can multi-task, prioritize, organize efficiently and be detail oriented. This position is responsible for working primarily with the AP Manager and the AP team to perform below duties and tasks with some accounting functions related to the general ledger maintenance. Duties may vary to include some or all the following job responsibilities:

Role Responsibilities:

• Matching receipts to AP invoices.
• Landed cost coding and vouchering.
• AP coding, data entry, scanning, and filing.
• Cash disbursements including Comdata, check runs, and manual checks.
• Answering emails regarding payable questions and approvals.
• Learn proper sales and use tax application in AP.
• Training and developing staff that still report to the AP manager.
• Answering phones for breaks for AR as needed.
• Expense comparison or analysis reporting (utilities, rents, and other).
• Reconcile certain accounts at month end as requested by AP manager and CFO. 
• Help prepare Cash Disbursement Planning Reports as necessary and update Operating Cash Planning Schedule. 
• Knowledge of GL Chart of Accounts.
• Help the AP and Accounting team with new processes necessary.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

What Tredit Tire is looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree required in any related discipline (Accounting preferred).
• Experience in accounting, accounts payable or other applicable field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, and especially Excel) and Adobe.
• Knowledge working with Syspro or similar ERP software strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 
• Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize efficiently.
• Excellent customer service and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Understanding data analysis and using reports to present data clearly and organized visually 
• Great skills with keeping records current by meeting deadlines.
