The Marketing Specialist is a key member of the marketing team, focusing on driving member engagement and utilization of our services. You'll be responsible for developing member engagement campaigns, testing outreach approaches and messaging tactics, and analyzing campaign performance to optimize results. You'll work with various tools, including our in-house member engagement platform for emailing and texting, as well as social media channels (Instagram and Facebook), Canva, and others, to effectively reach our members. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and contribute to initiatives that increase member participation, enhance service awareness, and support our mission of accessible healthcare.

You're detail-oriented, data-curious and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll manage multiple campaigns and initiatives while maintaining focus on measurable outcomes that drive member engagement.

This is a full time position based in the state of Texas. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and execute member engagement campaigns across multiple channels (email, text, phone, social media) to increase service utilization.
  • Develop and test various messaging approaches to determine which ones resonate best with different member segments.
  • Design and implement A/B tests for outreach campaigns, analyzing results to optimize engagement rates and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain member communication workflows.
  • Develop compelling content that educates members about available services and encourages utilization.
  • Develop collateral (message and design) to support the education and engagement of members.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to understand service offerings and translate them into engaging member communications.
  • Segment member audiences and create targeted campaigns based on demographics, health needs, and usage patterns.
  • Support member onboarding processes through strategic communication touchpoints.
  • Track member engagement trends and identify opportunities for new outreach initiatives.
  • Ensure all member communications align with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with special projects and campaigns to drive adoption of specific service lines.
Requirements

Sound Like You?

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of marketing experience, including internships, with a focus on customer/member engagement.
  • Experience with email and text marketing and basic marketing automation tools.
  • Proficiency with Canva, HubSpot (or other Marketing platform) and social media platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or interest in healthcare marketing is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and metrics.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create clear, compelling member-focused messaging.
  • Detail-oriented approach to campaign execution and performance tracking.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic understanding of customer segmentation and targeted marketing principles.
