Description

The Administrative Assistant (AA) will provide administrative support to the Director of Corporate Development (CDEV). The AA helps improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Director and CDEV Team, to be able to focus on operational problems and strategic improvements.

Scope And Responsibilities

  • Provide full administrative support and act as the first point of contact for the Director of CDEV and the CDEV team
  • Managing the calendar: reviewing, scheduling, screening, and directing communications
  • Returning phone calls when appropriate
  • Keep the Director of CDEV advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up
  • Organizing documents; maintaining records
  • Taking notes at meetings when necessary and any other administrative tasks that help the Director of CDEV and the team perform their jobs. At times may attend meetings on behalf of Director of CDEV.
  • Preparing high-quality presentations, proposals, agendas, and materials for various meetings and/or workshops
  • Booking and managing travel plans and accommodations with the respective Travel Dept. representatives
  • Appropriately handle sensitive and confidential matters and exercise discretion
  • Work with NA and global counterparts to assist in Director’s communication and planning
  • Help manager corporate events, sponsorships, meetings, interviews, and team building exercises
  • Periodic travel, including international travel is required. Periodic weekend and evening work may be required. Work from Home, occasionally permitted, depending on work content
  • May be assigned to additional Schluter Systems duties from time to time (depending on workload)
  • Helping on projects/actively leading teams & small projects
  • Take an active role in initiatives outside of the position, maintaining flexibility as well as rapid response to changing needs and priorities
  • Conduct research and work across departments to collect and analyze data
  • May include additional tasks (e.g., office purchasing, etc.) as necessary
  • Support the administrative needs of CDEV team
  • Represent Schluter Systems in a professional, positive, and enthusiastic manner in all matters

Requirements

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • At least 4 years of related experience preferred
  • Experience in managing a high-profile, corporate office environment a plus
  • Detail oriented, highly dependable, reliable, and trustworthy with a solid work ethic
  • Extremely proficient computer skills
  • i.e. Microsoft Office suite, comfortable learning new applications
  • Enjoys learning new skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, problem solve, and multitask
  • Highest degree of integrity and confidentiality, well-developed sense of discretion
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Exhibits sound judgement with the ability to prioritize and make decisions
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting with different departments and colleagues across all levels of the organization

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base pay offered will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for additional benefits to the base pay range listed above.
