What You’Ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and oversee logistics operations across Impact Centres, donation centres, warehousing, and transportation functions.
  • Develop and execute strategies for efficient donation flow, inventory distribution, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with Operations Directors to align inventory and donation capacity with retail needs.
  • Implement best practices and systems that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability.
  • Ensure consistent and timely transportation, routing, and store replenishment.
  • Oversee maintenance of logistics vehicles, equipment, and warehouse safety standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, and Sustainability to achieve organizational goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to improve operations.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and succession planning within the Logistics team.
  • Champion Goodwill’s brand integrity, sustainability commitments, and mission impact throughout all logistics operations.

What You Bring To The Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in logistics/supply chain, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in multi-unit operations, warehouse management, and transportation logistics.
  • Strong understanding of inventory optimization, donation flow, and retail distribution networks.
  • Proficiency with logistics systems and software (e.g., WMS, TMS).
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with experience in developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments and levels of leadership.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and eligibility to work in Canada.
