The Manager, Co-Brand Acquisitions is part of the Commercial Division. You will lead governance and operations that directly impact employee engagement and customer acquisition across multiple in-person channels. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to unify and optimize acquisition strategies.
What You'Ll Do

- Manage all aspects of the AAdvantage Cash program, including operations, governance, execution, and performance tracking.
- Lead employee offer and engagement operations across in-person acquisition channels.
- Lead governance and compliance in partnership with bank counterparts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align program goals and drive results.
- Support the Sr. Manager of In-Person Acquisitions in integrating channels under a unified program structure.
- Monitor program KPIs and provide regular reporting and insights to leadership.
- Identify opportunities for growth and optimization across in-person acquisition channels.
All You'Ll Need For Success
Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, partnerships, loyalty programs, or financial services.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and external partnerships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
- Experience in airline loyalty programs or cobrand credit card programs.
- Familiarity with Citi and Barclays partnership structures.
- Experience in employee engagement or internal communications strategy.
- MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
Skills, Licenses, and Certifications
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex, dynamic environments.
- Deep understanding of the airline, currency, and cobrand credit card business to drive innovative, results-oriented strategies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and build consensus across internal teams and external partners.
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, including experience with financial institutions and marketing agencies.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to influence in a matrixed environment.
- Data-driven decision-maker with experience leveraging insights to optimize acquisition performance and marketing effectiveness.
- Adaptable and collaborative leader with a track record of developing scalable processes and mentoring future talent.
