You Are:

As a GenAI for Cloud Application Migration SME Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the client through the complex process of transitioning their applications and infrastructure to AWS. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and implementing cloud-native solutions, with a strong focus on leveraging AWS services to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.  This role demands a deep understanding of cloud migration strategies, including rehosting, re-platforming, and refactoring, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve challenges that arise during the migration process. To excel in this position, you will need hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines, use of AI tools like GenWizard and Code Assist to convert legacy applications to modern architecture as well as proficiency in cloud native & microservices application architectures .

The Work:

  • Will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to refactor legacy applications, ensuring they are modernized and fully aligned with cloud best practices
  • Expert hands on experience with programming languages like python and AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS, ECS and RDS will be critical to your success, as will your ability to integrate these services into seamless, scalable solutions.
  • Exposure to modern development practices, including AI tools, DevOps methodologies and infrastructure as code, will further enhance your ability to deliver impactful results
  • Your background should include a proven track record of leading cloud migration initiatives, with a focus on application refactoring and modernization using AFS AI tool
  • A strong foundation in cloud-native development is essential, as you will be expected to design and implement microservices architectures and containerized solutions

Here'S What You Need:

  • Bachelors Degree or 10+ years of industry experience
  • Experience with Generative AI applications for application modernization, agentic frameworks, reverse engineering and forward engineering
  • Experience with Github copilot and AFS AI tools to rapidly assess and accelerate the application migration to the AWS
  • Proficiency with both backend and front end architecture
  • Experience with of modern JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, or Angular and web based applications architectures

  • The ability to work closely with diverse set of senior client leadership is essential to provide them confidence in our ability to deliver, present assessment and delivery options, and share progress on delivery. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
