The Role:    We are looking for an individual who can lead as a game operations specialist. Overall, this role is responsible for ensuring the overall success of tracking and event validation for multiple sports leagues around the world. The specialist will assist the team to process live tracks, validate sports-specific markings and events, handle day-to-day activities, develop and implement future strategies, and to work closely with department leadership to meet expectations and objectives. Specifically, this role will:   WHAT YOU’LL DO

• System Mastery and Technical Support: Serve as the subject matter expert for the entire event tracking and operations system, maintaining complete command over all related processes. Act as the primary technical resource to identify and troubleshoot system failures and data discrepancies during critical game operations.
• Documentation and Knowledge Management: Develop, maintain, and continuously update comprehensive operational documentation to ensure clear, consistent, and up-to-date procedures. Function as the central knowledge bank for the game operations team.
• Operational Staffing and Strategy: Influence strategic and real-time operational staffing decisions, ensuring resource allocation is synchronized with engineering development timelines and client service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Real-Time Operations: Provide consistent and reliable operational support during all scheduled events and critical game days.
• Global Collaboration: Ensure and facilitate strong, seamless collaboration across a large and diverse international team of peers and multiple international offices.
• Team Management and Oversight: Manage a large staff of contractors, proactively employing people management skills to oversee the real-time performance and scheduling of a rotating, international team.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• A strong tolerance for repetitive tasks.
• Knowledge and experience with definitional sports terms and markings.
• Prior experience with making time-critical judgment calls regarding live data processing, engineering support.
• Prior experience collaborating live with remote colleagues.
• Understanding of the current landscape and recent past of major professional sports leagues.
• Attention to detail; speed and accuracy are a must.

• Ability to present opinions in a group setting.
• Strong desire and aptitude to learn new skills as well as build on top of current strengths.
• Accountable to self prioritize current and upcoming workloads.

Additional Position Details:

• Must be able and available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able and available to work according to the various sporting league schedules, which includes holidays during the regular season (including day after Christmas Day (Boxing Day) and New Year's Day).
• Must possess flexibility, including early morning and late evenings.
