Job Description

Join our team as a Security Officer in Florence, United States! We're looking for vigilant and responsible individuals to ensure the safety and security of our facilities and personnel. As a valued member of our security team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for employees and visitors alike.

• Patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
• Write comprehensive reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Operate and monitor surveillance equipment
• Perform access control and conduct security screening when required
• Escort or drive motor vehicles to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as necessary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR and First Aid certification a plus
• Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred
• Excellent physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency for report writing and monitoring security systems
• Thorough knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Clean criminal record and ability to pass a background check
