MMCIP Director of Finance

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance and Operations, establishes, directs, coordinates, and administers a plan for the control of financial accounting operations for MMCIP. Reviews, analyzes, and interprets all financial and budgetary reports for management to ensure timely and effective decision making. Provides data for and /or assistance in establishing major accounting objectives or policies for the organization. Generally oversees all accounting operations within organization; and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with leadership experience in a financial setting
* Master’s degree in finance preferred, CPA preferred
* Three years of fiscal management experience
* One year experience in a health care organization

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s geographical location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/ training and other qualifications.
