Location: Summerville, SC

• Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)
• Compensation: $30.00 - $33.00/hour

Our Select Physical Therapy outpatient center in Summerville is seeking a licensed COTA to provide quality patient care. The ideal candidate will work mostly with hand therapy patients. Experience in hand therapy is required. Best practices and evidence-based programs are utilized for individualized patient care. Our clinics are fully equipped to provide care to patients ranging from post-surgical and non-operative to work conditioning. Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients.
• Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components
• Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services.
• Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals
• Ensure proper documentation of patient care.
• Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
• National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED
• Must have previous experience working with hand therapy patients
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Valid state driver’s license
