POSITION SUMMARY:
PickleRage is seeking an experienced, dynamic, strategic and motivated VP Franchise Development to help grow our chain of indoor pickleball clubs. As the VP Franchise Development, you will be responsible for the growth strategy for PickleRage and the recruitment of new franchisees in the United States and internationally. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND OUTCOMES:
To meet goals and targets related to franchise growth, including prospecting and qualifying candidates, designing and executing the franchise sales process, leading and managing a franchise sales team and delivering on strategic results.
Tasks And Responsibilities:
- Strategy and planning: Develop and implement the company's franchise expansion and development strategies, including market planning, incentives, and growth targets.
- Franchise sales management: Oversee the entire franchise sales process, set sales metrics, and work to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
- Lead generation: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective lead generation strategies for franchisee recruitment.
- Prospect and franchisee relations: Manage the pipeline of qualified candidates and build strong relationships with new and existing franchisees to support their growth plans.
- Internal collaboration: Work with executive leadership to align franchise development with overall business objectives, provide guidance on growth, and serve as an active member of the executive leadership team.
- Compliance and operations: Ensure franchise operations and development activities comply with all relevant franchise laws and regulations.
- Lead the FDD renewal process: Collaborate with the legal team to ensure annual registration deadlines are met and FDD offering is updated annually.
- Performance analysis: Track key performance metrics, analyze data, and provide regular reports on development progress to leadership.
Knowledge, Skills And Requirements:
- Education: A bachelor's degree is typically required, with a CFE (Certified Franchise Executive) designation being a plus.
- Experience: Significant experience in franchise development, particularly with start-ups/emerging brands, with a proven track record of franchise growth and a deep understanding of franchise laws and the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a development team.
- Sales acumen: Experience in closing single and multi-unit franchise deals.
- Strategic thinking: Strong strategic planning and market research skills.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills to build relationships and represent the company.
- Data-driven mindset: Highly organized, data-driven, and results-oriented approach.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT:Remote, with occasional travel to our PickleRage locations and franchise shows.

- COMPENSATION:
- $120,000-$180,000 base salary range + bonus opportunity and full benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance and other voluntary benefits)
