As a BDR Manager (Player-Coach), you'll lead a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives while rolling up your sleeves to drive pipeline as a top contributor—leveraging your proven hunting skills to fuel growth through multi-channel outbound strategies, including cold calling, LinkedIn social selling, and targeted email outreach via Apollo.
You'll scout high-potential accounts in sectors facing data privacy, threat, and compliance headwinds, build stakeholder relationships, and uncover needs aligned with our client-side protection solutions. By blending inbound and outbound efforts, you'll qualify opportunities, book meetings, and collaborate with sales—while empowering your team to do the same at scale. - Team Leadership & Strategy: Lead daily standups for priority alignment, review Salesforce pipeline, and refine Apollo sequences for outbound, events, and nurturing—driving team-wide revenue acceleration.
- Coaching & Development: Run weekly one-on-ones, role-plays, and call reviews to sharpen discovery and objection skills; coordinate ongoing training on cyber trends (e.g., client-side threats or GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA compliance) and tools.
- Onboarding & Talent Management: Build and lead onboarding programs with ramp-up playbooks, shadow calls, and quota paths
- Performance Management & Metrics: Monitor metrics (e.g., activity, connects, bookings, conversions, velocity) via dashboards; apply corrective actions, celebrate wins, and report ROI to leadership.
Qualifications
Experience And Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business or related field preferred; equivalent tech sales experience valued—no degree required.
- 3-5+ years in sales development, including 1-2 years managing BDRs/SDRs in cybersecurity, SaaS, or IT; success scaling global teams.
- Top BDR track record (e.g., 120%+ quota attainment) with expertise in prospecting, qualification, and tools like Salesforce, Apollo, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator; highlight coaching impacts.
- Tech/digital experience with cybersecurity focus (e.g., app sec including client-side protection, supply chain risks, third-party compliance, or data privacy regs) a strong plus
- Currently resides in Porto, Portugal
We believe you’ll succeed in this role if you have/are:
- Resilient leader and quota-crusher, merging execution with vision to motivate teams in dynamic environments—fueled by data and cyber insights.
- Metrics-driven organizer, mastering high-volume coaching, CRM discipline, sequence tweaks, and hybrid player/coach priorities.
- Elite communicator and mentor, excelling in role-playing and C-suite rapport.
