Role Summary

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-informed decision-making across our Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships functions. You will analyze complex data, uncover trends, and translate findings into actionable insights that accelerate Payoneer’s growth and success in LATAM.

What You’Ll Do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for data analysis within the LATAM business unit.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on regional KPIs (volume, revenue, acquisition, conversion, churn, product adoption) to inform strategic decisions.
  • Deliver clear, data-backed explanations for business performance trends, paired with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Build complex models to develop business cases and scenario analyses for strategic initiatives, quantifying potential impact.
  • Develop specialized models focused on ROI, cost-to-serve, profitability, and other key financial and operational metrics.
  • Design, develop, and maintain powerful dashboards, reports, and methodologies that enhance business visibility and serve the region’s data and tracking needs.
  • Support the leadership team in preparing monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Assist and mentor team members in retrieving and analyzing complex data sets.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored analytical support, including the following areas:

Sales

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations that enable the sales team to maximize revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain metrics and dashboards to track productivity, engagement, and sales cycle efficiency.

Marketing

  • Build target populations for campaigns in line with team specifications.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Develop tracking tools and dashboards to bring visibility to campaign performance and other strategic programs.

Customer Success

  • Monitor and analyze customer satisfaction, retention, and churn.
  • Segment and assess the customer base, building metrics around product adoption and identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Identify patterns in customer feedback to enhance the customer experience and strengthen retention.

Partnerships

  • Assess the performance of strategic partnerships and alliances, including activation, volume contribution, and revenue impact.
  • Track and analyze partnership KPIs to evaluate long-term value and scalability.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize partnership strategies and maximize mutual business value.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role such as business intelligence or data analysis within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong SQL skills, with experience querying large, complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Looker, Power BI, etc.).
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, dynamic models).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
