Specific Job Functions:
- Manage assigned operational functions consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department, the division and property.
- Secure and protect the assets of Treasure Island.
- Manage and monitor department expenses regarding daily operations and payroll.
- Manage the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the company’s core service standards and brand attributes.
- Provide input into the research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, technology and processes to ensure the company’s competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs within the dynamic hospitality and gaming environment.
- Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction;
- Create and maintain quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; adherence to the company’s status quo third party representation philosophy and compliance with company policies.
- Develop employee-training procedures relating to supervising, cashiering and clerks.
- Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and handle issues relating to payroll and Human Resources.
- Maintain and monitor compliance of all Anti-Money Laundering Reports and regulations (Title 31).
- Thorough knowledge of and strictly adhere to Gaming Regulations.
- Maintain and monitor Cage areas.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of fraud prevention and credit scams.
- Monitor and maintain paperwork flow regarding credits and debits.
- Provide department bank coverage as staffing levels and customer flow fluctuate.
- Perform guest transactions, including but not limited to: redeeming casino chips, redeeming slot machine tickets, redeeming Race & Sports tickets, even money exchanges, foreign currency exchanges, cash advances, check cashing, marker/front money issuance/redemption.
- Perform all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department.
Qualifications:
- At least three years of Cage supervisory/managerial experience required.
- Must be knowledgeable in Treasury/Title 31 and internal control requirements.
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other programs needed.
- Must have or be able to obtain Gaming Registration.
- Must have High School Diploma.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish and other languages) preferred.
- Professional appearance and demeanor a must.
- Must be able to bend, climb, crouch, kneel, stand and walk for extended periods of time, and carry/lift up to 10 pounds.
- Must be able to work in casino environment with possible exposure to smoke.
