Sales Development Representative
As a Sales Development Representative at DIRTT, you will be a key player in our commercial organization. You will support lead generation efforts, optimize our Salesforce platform, as well as manage day to day administrative tasks within our commercial organization. Your role will involve managing Salesforce order entry, gathering required information, and collaborating with stakeholders. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about driving sales success, we would love to have you on board! Please note DIRTT is seeking 2 SDR, one remotely and one more client facing on site, in Houston starting Q1, 2026!
What You’ll Do
- Proactively identify and manage new sales opportunities through external prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities through a mix of channels.
- You'll spend 40% of your time in Salesforce, 20% of your time as a Sales Administrator and 20% of your time in front of clients as a Client Services Rep
- Maintain client database and track data to inform new initiatives/continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to transfer qualified leads and ensure a smooth handover to the Territory Managers.
- Research and target prospective clients using a variety of lead generation tools and techniques.
- Conduct high-level conversations with stakeholders to qualify leads based on set criteria.
- Understand the specific needs of prospects to recommend appropriate products or services.
- Provide support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, including gathering and inputting client information and creation of opportunities in Salesforce, and following up on sales inquiries including documentation and product detail requests.
- Respond to sales questions in a timey manner, building trust and positive relationships with Partner/Rep.
- Track and report key sales metrics, helping the team to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze sales processes and identify areas for improvement to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work with sales leadership to implement new tools and technologies to enhance the lead generation process.
- Remain current on industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities to improve sales strategies.
- Manage guests, clients & tours at our Houston location (opening in Q1 2026)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing; Design or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 0-3 years’ experience in a sales, lead generation or sales support role.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage decision makers at all levels.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce and other sales/lead generation tools is a must!
