About The Client

You’ll join a dedicated team responsible for a mission-critical product in digital advertising and entertainment. The team is accountable for full-stack development, feature implementation, client-specific customizations, bug fixing, and testing.

As a Junior Java Engineer, you’ll work alongside senior team members, learning modern engineering practices while contributing to bug fixing, testing, and incremental feature support. This role is designed as a growth path into mid-level engineering, with strong mentoring and exposure to enterprise-scale systems.

What You’Ll Do

Engineering & Delivery

• Assist with bug fixing and small feature enhancements in Java and Spring Boot
• Write unit tests and contribute to integration testing under senior guidance
• Help maintain and adapt existing Terraform templates when minor updates are required
• Support code reviews by addressing feedback and learning best practices

Collaboration

• Shadow senior engineers to gain exposure to design and system architecture
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement sessions
• Work closely with QA to reproduce and resolve defects
• Build knowledge in AWS, Infrastructure as Code, and distributed systems step by step

What You Bring

• 1–2 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot (professional or internship)
• Familiarity with relational databases and REST APIs
• Basic understanding of unit testing practices
• Eagerness to learn cloud services, Infrastructure as Code, and modern CI/CD workflows
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written), with working hours overlapping European and LATAM time zones

Nice To Have

• Exposure to AWS, Terraform, or similar technologies
• Curiosity about Vaadin and frontend components
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile workflows
