The Staff Accountant role is responsible for account analyses, recordkeeping and reconciliations of specific general ledger accounts. Reporting to the Director, Financial Reporting, the role will interface and partner with other team members in the Financial Accounting Group and other departments.
Job Requirements:
- Post transactions, including adjusting journal entries to the general ledger.
- Perform bank reconciliations, follow up and clear outstanding items.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and related schedules.
- Conduct pre-defined month-end and year-end close tasks.
- Perform reconciliations and analysis of other general ledger accounts.
- Gather year end audit information as requested.
- Perform any other duties as delegated from time to time.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel (including Spreadsheets, Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP), MSWord and PowerPoint
- Excellent time management and organizational capability
- Ability to multitask and meet set deadlines
- Willingness to work long hours, when necessary
Education & Experience:
This role requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, with a major in accounting, finance, statistics, economics, or other related field. This role requires 2-3 years’ experience in a corporate environment, preferably with a large construction, engineering/architectural design build, or data center build-out organization or in a start-up and entrepreneurial environment.
This is a full-time role working remotely and from our Dallas corporate office. Our regular business hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday; however, we have offices across the globe, and we are flexible with work hours.
