This internship is for a duration of 6 months, starting as soon as possible in 2025. You will gain hands-on experience in electrical engineering, software engineering & big-data while working in a dynamic and international team.

Our Vehicle Product team is dedicated to keeping our vehicles running smoothly and ensuring a good user experience whilst maintaining the quality and safety of our fleet. We also work on optimising our vehicles and processes using the large amount of data available to us.
The Role And Your Impact
Add automated throttle-control to an existing dynamometer- Design a system to control the test-scooter’s throttle
- Mount, program and integrate the system on the existing dynamometer
- Adjust the software so that the load can be made to follow a predefined profile
- Predefined profiles may incorporate torque, speed and power control
- Analyse fleet data to create load profiles that accurately reflect average in-market rides
- These load profiles may be for specific cities/markets or an average for all users
YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (second or third year) in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related discipline.
- Workshop or hands-on experience, gained through a hobby or professional background is required.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to program in C.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, hands-on setting.
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
- Affinity with bikes, scooters, or light electric vehicles (LEVs) is a plus.
Language & Location:
- Business fluent in English (Dutch or other languages are a plus).
- Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands (100% on-site internship, 40 hours per week).
University Approval And Visa Requirements:
- The internship must be approved by your university.
- You must be able to attend the internship without problems or delays with visas.
