Quality Inspector - Cable & Harness - Level 2

We are seeking a Cable and Harness Inspector in Ensenada, MX. This is a part-time role, working three days per week on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process and final inspections on cable and harness assemblies.
• Verify workmanship against IPC/WHMA-A-620, customer specifications, and internal procedures.
• Inspect for continuity, proper crimping, soldering, labeling, and overall assembly quality.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions.
• Record inspection data, maintain accurate documentation, and report non-conformances.
• Support MRB activities and provide feedback to production and quality teams on recurring issues.
• Use tools such as calipers, microscopes, multimeters, and continuity testers during inspections.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve quality concerns.

Skills And Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience inspecting cable and harness assemblies in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 (Certification is a plus).
• Familiar with quality systems and standards such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
