EPM is growing, and we are seeking NMLS licensed Portfolio Retention Mortgage Loan Officers to join our team. This role focuses on maximizing opportunities within our existing portfolio, driving retention through refinance opportunities and ensuring client satisfaction. Unlike traditional origination roles, this position prioritizes working with our current portfolio while also allowing for self-generated business. Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with our Servicing Teams, monitor and retainthe company’s portfolio, identifying refinance opportunities. 
  • Originate FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional loans, with flexibility to manage a wide range of borrower needs. 
  • Ensure all loan applications meet regulatory standards, as well as employer and investor guidelines. 
  • Document all borrower communications, outreach activities, and loan actions in the company’s CRM and loan origination system (LOS). 
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing EPM clients, fostering long-term loyalty. 
  • Work closely with colleagues and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery and contribute to the overall success of the organization. 
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned due to business needs. 

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.   
  • Active NMLS license required. Multi-state licensing strongly preferred, with priority given to candidates licensed in California, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Texas, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and South Carolina. 
  • 3+ years of mortgage lending experience required. 
  • Knowledge of home loans and residential mortgages such as conventional, VA, FHA, and USDA loans. 
  • Proficiency with Encompass loan origination system preferred. 
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Ability to structure complicated loan scenarios and submit complete loans packages to underwriting to ensure accurate and timely loan approvals and closings.
