We’re hiring a People Ops – Onboarding & Recruitment Coordinator (Contract 8 weeks) to play a key role in how new talent joins and grows at Apera. You’ll manage interviews scheduling and communications during recruitment, ensure smooth onboarding experiences, and support a people-focused projects as we scale.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, people-focused, and excited about building structure and consistency in a fast-moving startup environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate Recruiting Activities: Manage candidate scheduling, interview logistics, and communications, ensuring a positive candidate experience at every stage.
  • Enhance Candidate Experience: Be the point of contact for applicants, answer questions, and keep them informed throughout the hiring process.
  • Support People Ops Projects: Assist with rec recruitment engagement surveys, culture initiatives, and candidate communications.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline scheduling, communications, and onboarding workflows.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment coordination, onboarding, or HR administration
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional yet approachable style
  • Passion for creating positive experiences for candidates and employees
  • Comfort with tools such as ATS platforms (Greenhouse)
  • Able to start on Monday, October 13

Bonus: Experience in a startup, tech, or engineering-driven environment.
