About The Role

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.

As Senior Director of EMEA Marketing, you will own the strategy and execution to drive brand awareness, demand, and pipeline across the EMEA region. Leading a high-performing team, you’ll deliver innovative programs that resonate with data and analytics leaders, working closely with Sales to accelerate opportunities in Enterprise and Commercial segments across UKI, DACH, France, and Emerging Markets.

Reporting to the VP of Revenue Marketing, the role calls for a proven marketing leader with deep regional expertise, and strength in translating global priorities into impactful, locally relevant campaigns. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with creativity, sales alignment, event and partner marketing expertise, using data-driven insights to build demand for Fivetran and deliver measurable business impact.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Dublin, Ireland office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You’Ll Do

• Partner closely with Sales leadership to ensure alignment on priorities, build and evolve effective country-level marketing plans that meet/exceed pipeline goals.
• Lead team execution for regional marketing strategies and programs to increase brand awareness, demand, pipeline, product usage, retention and expansion.
• Broaden awareness of Fivetran as a leading player through regional Public Relations, Customer Case Studies, and content marketing efforts.
• Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization and within the EMEA region. Work closely with teams in global marketing to formulate and execute launches, integrated campaigns, and account-based marketing plans.
• Lead the teams that own execution for >150 events and programs per year, including Fivetran-hosted events, 3rd party and partner conferences, field and executive events, public relations, digital and demand generation programs. Ensure seamless execution from concept to post-program analysis.
• Partner with the Account-Based Marketing team, responsible for 1:1 and 1:few programs targeting strategic and enterprise customers and prospects.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, demonstrating direct accountability for pipeline health and making real-time strategic adjustments to maximize impact and ROI.
• Collaborate closely with Product Marketing to develop relevant messaging, positioning, and region-specific content plans.
• Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize ROI.
• Analyze complex market trends, competitive landscape and addressable market to identify opportunities for growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, agencies, and strategic partners to enhance execution and maximize sponsorship opportunities.
• Hire and coach top talent. Train, develop and motivate a dynamic organization of marketing leaders and individual contributors, empowering them with the skills to meet and exceed KPIs.

Skills We’re Looking For

• 15+ years of Marketing leadership experience with a focus on partnering with EMEA Sales leaders to drive pipeline.
• 7+ years experience managing a team of 5+ members, demonstrated ability to build and develop a growing international marketing function.
• Track record of designing and executing high-performing, integrated marketing campaigns that drive pipeline growth with enterprise and small to mid-sized businesses.
• Deep knowledge of regional market dynamics, cultural nuances, and competitive landscapes within EMEA, with a proven track record of translating insights into successful go-to-market strategies and outcomes.
• Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making as well as a consistent track record of delivering against pipeline targets.
• Executive communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders across a global organization.
