  • EMEA obsolete items reduction project

Project Description:
The internship project aims to support the reduction of obsolete inventory items across all EMEA manufacturing and distribution plants. The intern will analyze current stock levels, identify root causes of obsolescence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose actionable improvements. This may include process changes, system enhancements, and coordination with local supply chain teams to implement corrective actions.

We are flexible in adjusting the project according to different fields of studies or preferences.

  • Who Should Apply?
  • Students currently enrolled in a technical university program (engineering, logistic, supply chain etc.) who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow.

Requirements

Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Basic understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles
  • Ability to communicate effectively across teams and cultures
  • Self-driven and proactive approach to project work
  • Internship detailsStart date: ASAP
  • End date: 6 months from the start date with possibility to extend it.
  • Expected hours per week: Flexible, 20-40 hours per week

  • A comprehensive report identifying key drivers of obsolete items
  • Measurable USD saving in grading reserve reduction.
  • Recommendations for process improvements and preventive measures
  • Implementation plan for selected actions in collaboration with plant teams
