We’re looking for a Credit & Collections Team Leader to join us in Budapest and lead the North America Credit & Collections Team, ensuring world-class performance across the order-to-cash cycle.

Your Impact

As Team Leader, You Will:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the Credit & Collections Team to ensure timely, high-quality debt collection in line with business standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate all activities related to overdue payments.
  • Step in to support collection activities directly when needed.
  • Track and resolve outstanding payment issues using standardized reports.
  • Provide support and backup to the Credit Analyst.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies for accounts receivable to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Set clear performance goals, create and support development plans, and drive your team to meet KPI targets.
  • Deliver regular reports on collection performance to management.
  • Actively monitor accounts to minimize bad debt.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across all business levels, encouraging proactive collaboration.
  • Take an active role in ad-hoc group projects to improve the order-to-cash process and lead process improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

  • BA degree / equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • 5+ years’ experience in credit & collections.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a team leader/management role.
  • Deep knowledge of credit and collection processes.
  • Advanced skills in Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Accounts Receivable module.
  • (Bonus) Familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently, even in complex situations.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a structured approach to challenges.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (any additional European language is an advantage).
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, flexible, and eager to learn with a continuous improvement mindset.
