We are currently looking for a CREDIT ANALYST to manage our portfolio of North American customers in US Time zone. You will be part of our Credit and Collections Team for North America based in Budapest. We are offering the opportunity to dive into our AR processes and learn and develop within the role.
What You Will Do
- Assesses all customer account applications and sets and reviews customer credit limits
- Review ledgers regularly using external AI to improve decision making
- Assesses leasing and rental proposal credit risks
- Ensure company information about existing and new customers is filed, prepared, maintained and entered in the systems on a timely manner
- Ensuring credit holds are checked and releasing orders whenever it is possible. Communicate credit release issues of the assigned portfolio to all involved stakeholders.
- Ensuring that customer exposure is consistent to the approved credit limit
- Reviewing, renewing, and adjusting credit limits if day to day business routine requires and customer payment performance / other indicators allow
- Identify and proactively escalate credit limit issues
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with various stakeholders at all business levels
- Prepare various credit limit related reports and analysis
- Participate in various ad-hoc Group projects to improve order-to-cash process, takes leadership on process improvement initiatives.
Your Profile
- BA degree in accounting / finance, or related field
- Relevant experience as Credit analyst / Credit manager or similar finance role is a must
- Hand-on experience in SAP and Sales Force
- Strong knowledge of Excel and general IT literacy
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to take decisions individually, even in a complex situation
- Strong analytical skills, structured way of thinking and acting
Excellent Communication Skills
- High level of English and knowledge of an additional European language (German / French / Spanish) is an advantage
- Eager to continue learning and developing
- Flexible with continuous improvement mindset
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
