Position Summary

This position is responsible for survey creation, programming, data extraction, reviewing and organizing data for reports and presentations, and supporting data collection and management for various institutional needs. The position requires the coordination of various activities in support of organizational need, including scheduling of meetings, maintenance of standard operating procedure manuals, organization of unit documents and materials, and the usage of project management software. At times, this position may function as an honest broker for educational scholarship, research projects and will contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives, including support of accreditation. The ideal candidate will exhibit a positive and collaborative attitude, will be diligent in meeting deadlines and will contribute to the goals and missions of the unit, the Office of Education, and WashU Medicine. This position will work a hybrid schedule, with required work on the WashU Medicine campus on an ad hoc basis to meet unit and Office of Education needs.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Co-create, program, and extract survey data for program evaluation and scholarship efforts using survey software.
  • Conducts basic quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including descriptive statistics, thematic analysis, and other forms of basic analysis necessary to meet organizational needs.
  • Collect, review, deidentify, and distribute evaluation data to appropriate partners.
  • Create reports and presentations for various initiatives and partners within the Office of Education.  
  • Acts as an honest broker in alignment with IRB regulations and processes in support of educational scholarship
  • Coordinate and organize unit activities including scheduling unit related meetings, room reservations, maintenance of documents and manuals, survey completion incentives, and other tasks as assigned to ensure processes and the unit’s functions are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$23.37 - $36.19 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
