Your Career
As automation transforms traditional program management, the Program Manager role is elevated to a strategic craft in our delivery lifecycle. IT Program Managers at Palo Alto Networks are outcome orchestrators, connecting people, processes, and platforms to accelerate cycle time, reduce delivery friction, and enable smarter decision-making. They act as cross-functional facilitators who embed AI-driven practices, champion adoption, and help business and technology teams realize measurable impact.
In this role, you will work closely with teams across IT Software Engineering, IT Product Managers, Engineering, HR, Legal, Finance, and other business functions. You will partner to align priorities, orchestrate execution, and ensure our programs deliver on both strategic outcomes and operational excellence.
Your Impact
Serve as the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Business, and Operations, ensuring alignment of priorities and seamless execution.
Use AI-enabled tools for planning, risk rollups, reporting, and tracking while focusing your attention on problem-solving and accelerating outcomes.
Orchestrate dependencies, risks, and decision points across domains; surface insights to drive clarity between teams and unblock execution.
Gather requirements, manage scope, and build project plans that balance ambition with feasibility; ensure resource alignment and scope control processes are applied consistently to keep programs on track.
Facilitate stakeholder alignment and change management to ensure delivery outcomes are adopted, not just delivered.
Assess change impacts of IT transformations and design stakeholder-centric enablement plans that smooth adoption and reduce disruption.
Translate complex data and program insights into compelling narratives for leadership and working teams.
Continuously experiment with AI and automation to simplify workflows and improve delivery velocity.
Qualifications
Your Experience
Led cross-functional projects or teams to successful completion.
Demonstrated success driving cross-functional programs in tech-intensive environments.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise business systems (e.g., SFDC, SAP).
Proficiency with AI-assisted planning, reporting, and prompt-driven workflows.
Strong EQ and influencing skills; able to align diverse stakeholders towards shared outcomes.
Proven ability to adapt in rapidly changing environments, navigating shifting priorities while keeping outcomes on track.
Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent military experience.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $132000 - $214500/YR.
