Job Description

This is a Fixed Term 2 Month Contract. Working a 37.5 hour week, Monday - Friday 08:00 - 19:00, with occasional work on a Saturday, if this is worked you receive a day off in the week,

Eurofins Environment Testing Ireland is seeking a dependable and professional Environmental Field Technician to join our logistics team. This role is focused on the accurate and timely collection of environmental samples from various locations across Ireland. It is ideal for candidates who enjoy working independently in the field and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collect environmental samples (e.g., lakes, rivers, manholes, composite samplers) in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure all samples are correctly labeled, stored, and maintained under required temperature conditions during transit.
• Deliver samples to the laboratory with complete and accurate documentation.
• Plan daily routes to ensure efficient travel and timely delivery.
• Maintain the company vehicle, including cleanliness, tire pressure, oil levels, and general upkeep.
• Drive safely and in full compliance with legal requirements.
• Report any customer-related issues, delays, or incidents promptly.
• Support broader operational needs by working flexibly in other areas when required.
• Complete mandatory training and maintain accurate Time and Attendance records.

Qualifications

• Full, clean driving license (no previous endorsements preferred).
• A pleasant, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role (field sampling or logistics preferred).
