The team
ING’s Regulatory Data Request (RDR) team (11 FTE) is part of Ad-Hoc Regulatory & Integrated Reporting Circle within Global Services & Reporting Tribe, COO Risk. You will be part of the team contributing to the reporting process from analysing regulation of main European regulatory bodies, translating them into standardized reporting templates using data analytical tools such as SAS Enterprise Guide. You will work with the team based in Amsterdam.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Conducting data analysis and preparing reports
  • Identifying opportunities to automate and optimize processes
  • Critically assessing quality and meaning of data
  • Identifying and navigating through multiple data sources
  • Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders
  • Analysing internal and external regulations
  • Preparing functional documentation
  • Building and maintaining relationships with international group of stakeholders
  • Supporting growth of regulatory expertise within the team

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Econometrics, Computer Sciences.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory reporting within financial institution
  • Broad knowledge of data management, relation databases, data modelling
  • Hands-on working experience with
  • SQL/PL, SQL/T-SQL, and
  • SAS environment (SAS Enterprise Guide) and 4GL programming
  • Strong collaborative team player, able to work within and across multiple virtual teams
  • Able to effectively communicate complex technical content to business/functional audiences
  • Eagerness to learn more and proactively acquire knowledge
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English - C1 
  • SQL/PL, SQL/T-SQL, and
  • SAS environment (SAS Enterprise Guide) and 4GL programming
