A shared service across functional areas, Accounts Payable is comprised of 2 components, one being for Vendors and the other for Employees. Accounts Payable for Employees entail payments for employee expenses as well guiding employees to ensure that they are abiding by the company policy when expenses are being submitted.
Role And Responsibilities
You are passionate about using data driven to ensure that the employees are submitting on a timely fashion as well as work with other counterparts required. Interaction with employees and management to understand issues that needs to be addressed. Additionally, the ideal candidate consistently searches for ways to enhance processes and systems to assist in supporting employees when needed. You strive for excellence in all aspects, setting the bar as a role model for the rest of the company.
Reviews travel and non-travel related expenses and risk management to achieve operational excellence. Identifies root cause to problems and uses data driven approaches to solve them. Extensive interaction with employees, to identify problems and analyze information provide solutions consistent with our business strategies. AP’s role encompasses all responsibilities and risk management based on the company needs and should go above and beyond assigned responsibility to support.
- Support month end closing in collaboration with other SEA departments and subsidiaries
- Project management ability; meet time sensitive deadlines and communicate with other corporate departments
- Approve/Reject Expenses
- Assist in preparing materials in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point to be presented within and outside of AP team
- Assist in reporting for risk management items
- Assist team members for all project related tasks
- No limitation to the scope and services AP provides to the company in its efforts to become Best in Class with premium systems and optimum processes to support its advancement
- Positive attitude towards operational responsibilities and desire to learn and effectively contribute
- Assist manager in department projects
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required. Minimum, Bachelor’s degree in the above related fields
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the job offered or similar related field including but not limited to finance

- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially pertaining to operations and financial functions
- You are eager to learn and grow but also help others do the same
- You are organized and pay close attention to detail
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $84,000and $104,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
