Overview:
The Vice President of Business Applications at Litera will be a transformative leader responsible for reimagining and optimizing the company’s internal application ecosystem across Sales, Finance, HR, IT, Support, and Data Warehousing and BI Analytics. This role is designed for a high-impact operator who can architect and execute a unified strategy that drives operational excellence, scalability, and innovation across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- This leader will oversee the administration and governance of Salesforce, including user management, security, CPQ architecture, pricing rules, contract lifecycle processes, and custom development. They will ensure Salesforce is deeply integrated with other core systems such as NetSuite, Workday, and internal support platforms, enabling seamless workflows and a frictionless user experience. The VP will also lead efforts in complex automation and enterprise-wide process optimization, ensuring that Litera’s systems are not only stable and secure but also agile and responsive to business needs.
- The VP will lead a multidisciplinary team spanning Systems Operations, Business Process, and Data Engineering. They will be responsible for platform governance, enterprise data management, and end-user support, while also driving vendor and license optimization. A key mandate is to foster seamless cross-functional integration—ensuring that applications and workflows across departments are aligned, efficient, and responsive to evolving business needs.
- This role includes strategic oversight of the Data Engineering and BI Analytics function. The VP will guide the development and governance of Litera’s enterprise data warehouse, ensuring robust data architecture, scalable reporting pipelines, and the delivery of certified dashboards that empower decision-making across the organization. A critical priority will be the creation of a self-service data model that enables business units to independently access, integrate, and build their own reporting solutions. The VP will also be responsible for producing and maintaining corporate operating reports and dashboards that provide executive-level visibility into performance and progress. Experience with Snowflake or other modern data warehousing technologies is preferred.
- To drive efficiency and innovation, the VP will be expected to integrate AI into business operations processes. This includes leveraging AI to automate workflows, enhance data quality, improve user support, and enable predictive insights across functional areas. The VP will also lead the development of AI-powered self-service capabilities, allowing teams to resolve issues, access data, and execute tasks with minimal friction. Additional opportunities for AI-driven transformation will be explored across document processing, customer experience, and operational forecasting.
- The VP will work closely with leaders in Marketing and Revenue Operations, as well as stakeholders across HR, Technology, and Finance, to define and execute joint objectives. Success in this role requires a leader who can coordinate across business units to identify pain points, streamline operations, and deliver transformative solutions. The VP will be expected to build strong partnerships, lead with clarity and accountability, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
This is not a maintenance role—it is a strategic opportunity to revolutionize how Litera operates internally. The ideal candidate will bring a bold vision, deep technical acumen, and the ability to execute at scale, positioning Litera’s internal operations as a competitive advantage in the market.
Qualifications:
