Details of the Division and Team:
Technology plays a critical role in Deutsche Bank's transformation. Technology, Data, and Innovation (TDI) is the technology division for the bank, driving an integrated IT, data, and security agenda across the bank.
We are seeking a Divisional Control & Oversight Analyst to join the first line of defence 1LOD in Singapore. The role reports to the Asia Pacific (APAC) Head of Technology Risks.
The role will be responsible for the management and governance of technology risks, and facilitation of internal/ external audits, including regulatory inspections, controls assessment. Ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in technology risks and controls, knowledgeable in guidelines/ regulations in APAC regions. The team has a global footprint in Frankfurt, London, Mumbai, New York plus APAC.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Audit And Finding Remediation Support:
- Serve as a point of contact for TDI and collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate internal/ external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of evidence submissions for audits.
- Provide support to finding and actions owners for the timely and effective resolution of audit findings.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Interpret regulation and inform stakeholders on the relevancy of the impacted areas.
- Facilitate internal assessments from regulatory updates, circulars, and notifications.
Technology Risk Governance:
- Monitor technology risks and control deficiencies, track remediation action plans, and provide transparency on risk exposures through regular reporting and related governance forums.
- Lead and support technology units in identifying, evaluating, and assessing risks and controls via Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) or self-identification.
- Monitor and challenge the design & effectiveness of the current state of controls.
- Improve and promote risk awareness among the technology units.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with various stakeholders across the business, including IT teams, business leaders, risk, and compliance, to manage technology risks effectively.
- Subject matter expert in technology risk and advisory to the IT teams in adherence to internal standards and regulations.
Your Skills And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Related professional certifications in information security risk and audit e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC etc.
- 5 years of experience in technology risk in either one of the three lines of defence, with financial services industry or Big 4 accounting firms.
- Knowledge in regulatory technology requirements of APAC regions (e.g. MAS, BNM, OJK, BOT etc.).
- Knowledge in information security and technology risk governance frameworks such as COBIT, ISO27000.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and formulate recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Experience with risk management tools and methodologies.
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
