Job Title: BMAG – Assistant Vice President

Location: Jaipur, India

Role Description

BMAG (Business Management and Analytics Group) partners with various COOs/Operations leads in delivering various value added reporting, analytics and lead/support in various projects and initiatives.

Business Management is responsible for strategy and planning to align business operations with the bank's mission and goals.

Work Includes:

  • Delivering and improving the functions performed by the Business Management community
  • Researching and analysing industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities and strategic areas of interest
  • Identifying and prioritising improvement opportunities and supporting the implementation of discreet sub-units, be they products, desks, infrastructure or control areas of activity or a geographical region
  • Developing complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocation and plans for projects
  • Utilising comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business
  • Synthesizing and collating business insights for specific divisional stakeholders and supporting the improvement of policies, processes and procedures to deliver consistent and reliable products / services
  • Engaging with relevant internal and external stakeholders to deliver the best value for functions / units
  • Building relationships with external points of contact (e.g. regulators, auditors, etc.) and industry bodies

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate to leadership/stakeholders on the Project updates, along with the progress, roadblocks, challenges & mitigation
  • Managing the entire lifecycle of project(s)
  • Provide support to COOs in various projects / initiatives / BAU in areas like headcount, vendor spend, ABC, reporting, automations, metrics etc.
  • Actively supports the COO strategy, plans and values, contributing to the achievement of a high performance culture
  • Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in implementation of strategies
  • Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements, forming project team
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, recommending actions
  • Supports tough people decisions to ensure people performance is aligned with organization imperatives and needs. Addresses individual performance issues, where necessary, to drive for high performance
  • Independently communicate with senior stakeholders in day to day deliverables

Your skills and experience

  • CA/MBA/B.Com with 10 + years of experience
  • JIRA management
  • Project Management
  • Ability to share and receive information, knowledge and expertise within the team environment
  • Strong Analytical & problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of DB Group/COO processes and systems
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Services industry
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Strong interpersonal & problem solving skills
  • Passion and proven ability to work with management information, financial figures and mass data
