Job Details:

This position is responsible for inventorying, requisitioning and issuing maintenance supplies.

Primary tasks are maintaining physical and computer inventories of maintenance supplies, issuing maintenance parts/supplies as needed, completing requisitions for parts/supplies as necessary to maintain established inventory levels. Other responsibilities include communication with vendors regarding supplies and orders, general housekeeping in area, price checking for maintenance personnel, completion of receivers.

Pay rate for this position is $24.50 per hour

Requirements:

Applicants must display excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and basic leadership ability.

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 6 months of manufacturing experience required + experience in maintenance or a parts room and inventory.
• Computer Skills: Strong computer skills required; working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Prior experience in SAP is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and suppliers both in person and over the phone.

• Special Skills:

• Knowledge of parts and tools used in a plant; ability to prioritize work. 
• Ability to read and write; possess basic math skills; ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
