About Us

At Dyson, we solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better. We’re driven by progress and thrive on the challenge of relentless improvement.

Our Demand & Sales Planning team transforms global and local insights into actionable forecasts—ensuring the right products reach the right markets at the right time. By fusing data, teamwork, and sharp analysis, we help drive Dyson’s growth and deliver on our promise to customers everywhere.

About The Role

At Dyson, precise demand forecasting sits at the heart of our supply strategy—and you’ll lead the charge. As Market Demand Planner, you’ll act as the impartial voice in the room, steering a cross-functional team to truly understand and forecast what customers want. You’ll “bring the outside in,” turning market insight into accurate, SKU-level forecasts that our Supply team uses to get the right products to the right places, at the right time.

Every day, you’ll champion transformation. You’ll help drive the adoption of a best-in-class operating model for demand planning, making sure our approach is as innovative as our machines. Leading the local S&OP process, you’ll collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain partners, drawing on market data and past trends to deliver robust bottom-up forecasts. As the owner of forecast accuracy, you won’t just track KPIs—you’ll dive deep into root causes, solve problems, and continuously improve our planning through smart action plans.

You’ll design new analytical tools and experiment with enabling technologies to boost performance. Continuous improvement isn’t a slogan here—it’s your mission. You’ll spot new opportunities, optimise reporting (or invent better ways of doing it), and ensure stakeholders always have insight into what’s driving demand across the business. Above all, you’ll help build a culture of collaboration, sharing best practice across global markets to make every forecast more reliable and actionable.

About You

You’ll excel in this role if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field
  • At least four years’ hands-on experience in demand planning or supply chain management
  • Deep understanding of demand planning, with proven results in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, paired with expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and demand planning software
  • Experience leading and transforming processes, with a passion for challenging the status quo
  • A track record of driving continuous improvement and solving problems proactively
  • Resilience under pressure—you keep a clear head and a practical attitude when things get tough
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to translate numbers into actionable insights for any audience
  • The ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and thrive in a culture of innovation and change
