Remuneration: $55.63- $59.61 p/hr + 12% Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our Wesley Hospital team  

You will be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to patients and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes for those receiving active treatment and as well as end of life palliative care.  

As a Clinical Nurse you will provide exceptional patient care in the areas of your clinical expertise whilst assessing and responding appropriately to clinical nursing issues and concerns. Providing supervision and guidance within a multi-disciplinary team through effective decision making and support, you will lead by example through exceptional communication, customer service and patient advocacy.

What makes a difference for us?

  • Minimum 12 months post graduate experience in Medical Oncology and/or Palliative care 
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration 
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Oncology and/or Palliative Nursing or working towards 
  • Experience in clinical examination desirable 
  • Flexibility to cover sick and annual leave 
  • Desire for ongoing professional development 
  • Proven patient-centred focus on safety and quality of care 
  • Flexibility to work a varied roster across all shifts 
  • Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements
