Director, Corporate Counsel

Job Description

Fabletics is looking for a strategic and collaborative generalist lawyer to join as a key member of the legal team as the Director, Corporate Counsel.

How Do You Fit In?

They will primarily be responsible for and play a crucial role in managing Company transactions, litigation management, corporate matters, implementing compliance programs, and advising executive management. The Director, Corporate Counsel will have the opportunity to work alongside business partners across multiple brands on a day-to-day basis on a wide variety of corporate, litigation, compliance, and commercial issues in an environment that requires them to adapt to changing priorities and organizational needs.

What You Will Do:

• Manage a diverse range of litigation matters, including advertising, employment, IP and contract matters
• Assist in creating, implementing and improving Company compliance programs and operational processes
• Spearhead legal and strategic initiatives from start to finish by working in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including but not limited to license agreements, services agreements and NDAs
• Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving disputes
• Support and manage internal corporate initiatives and policies

What You Can Bring:

• J.D. from an ABA-approved law school and active member in good standing of at least one CA state bar
• 5+ years of experience practicing law
• Experience at a top tier law firm in compliance or litigation or e-commerce public companies preferred
• Organizational experience and strategic thinking, and experience advancing projects in a multi-stakeholder environment
• Business judgment and client counseling experience

The annual base salary range for this position is from $150,000-$200,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
