Who We're Looking For

In this role, the Product Manager acts as the general manager of a product line and as such determines and executes the product strategy on a global basis, navigating both the company’s short-term and long-term position in the market. The Product Manager leads all activities related to new product development and ideation, monetization, the lifecycle management and evolution of the product, and makes all critical decisions affecting the product with the goal of increasing the revenues and the market share.

Scope Of The Role:

  • Direct Reports This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports 
  • Determining market size and opportunities for growth for existing and new customers 
  • Defining, executing, and maintaining product strategy 
  • Manage the solution from strategic planning to roadmap execution 
  • Product life cycle management 
  • Understanding market pricing and opportunities/risks to existing and new customers 
  • Defining the product value proposition to both internal and external stakeholders 
  • Understanding competitors, their key customers, pricing, and product strategies

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing input into the marketing and training organizations to develop sales collateral and product documentation 
  • Meeting with customers and prospects and provide written updates to executive management 
  • Identifying, defining and designing new features and functionalities for the product line 
  • Develop and maintain a viable product roadmap with clear objectives to reach key KPIs 
  • Developing business cases to substantiate new initiatives related to the products  
  • Increase revenues and market share  
  • Drive roadmap and product strategy in collaboration with company strategy, sales and marketing plans 
  • Identifying deficiencies with the service that must be corrected 
  • Grooming of product requirements for roadmap development  

Experience, Education, And Certifications:

  • BS/BA in telecommunications, computer science or relevant field 
  • 2+ years Product Management experience in Technology, Network or Engineering related field, working in fixed or mobile industry or similar, with a strong working knowledge of telecommunications 
  • Experience with UI/UX development is a plus 
  • Experience in reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts is preferred 

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in mobile messaging, SaaS, and APIs
  • Understanding of the Mobile user experience (Pricing, user behavior) 
  • Hands-on Product development experience with an understanding of product development process 
  • Financial and analytical skills  
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and resources 
  • Ability to think critically with independent and analytical skillsets and to proactively target market opportunities 
  • Strong interpersonal, communications and relationships building skills 
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams to achieve common goals and to influence without authority 
  • Comfortable working and communicating with all levels of management across the organization 
  • Must be able to develop concise functional specifications/requirements documents
