Job Description
This fixed-term position (maternity cover) is part of Our LEGO Agency, the internal agency of The LEGO Group and leads our Global Influencer team. This team is responsible for managing global influencer projects and integrating them into our broader marketing campaigns. Additionally, the team collaborates closely with local influencer teams, in collaboration with our localised hubs, to align global strategies with local insights . The role sits on the leadership team of the Social First Creative and Influencer team, reporting into the Head of Social First Creative and Influencer.
We are seeking an experienced influencer marketing leader with a strong background in people management and the ability to set global influencer marketing strategies. This role will work in close partnership with our social media team, as well as our PR and Fandom teams, to ensure that influencer collaborations align with The LEGO Group's overarching earned media strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Global Influencer Marketing Team within The LEGO Group’s internal agency, including managing a team of five members.
- Work closely with Our LEGO Agency’s creative teams to develop best-in-class creator briefs, that lead to excellent creator content.
- Set the direction for The LEGO Group’s global influencer strategy and collaborate with creative and channel teams to effectively integrate influencers into global campaigns.
- Act as a people leader, overseeing and support the team in executing influencer marketing campaigns from start to finish, both internally and with external partners.
- Liaise with local influencer leads through our regional influencer leads to implement the global-to-local influencer strategy.
- Collaborate with other channel owners and our strategy and creative teams to develop integrated marketing plans.
- Own and optimize our global influencer marketing processes, including the utilization of our creator database tool.
- Serve as a key member of the Social First Creative and Influencer Leadership team, setting direction for the wider department at large.
Desired Skills And Experience:
Essential:
- Proven track record in influencer marketing and social media, with clear examples of developing and delivering influencer marketing strategies.
- Exposure to people management, with examples of guiding, mentoring, or managing others.
- A strong passion for collaboration and working with a range of stakeholders.
- A comprehensive understanding of influencer measurement metrics.
- A proven commitment to diversity and inclusion in influencer marketing.
Desirable:
- A strong and demonstrated commitment to brand safety and brand governance.
- Experience working across kids communications, or within a toy brand.
- Experience in database management and influencer measurement tools.
- Experience with, and a passion for integrating Influencer work into cross-ecosystem marketing campaigns.
