We are looking for Solution Owner for MS Power Platform and Dynamics 365 to join our team!

Your role and responsibilities

Aalto is using Microsoft services extensively from cloud capacity to specific custom applications. You will be responsible for management of the Power Platform as well as Dynamics 365, from needs identification to service retirement together with stakeholders. You will work in close co-operation with internal experts, IT specialists and external vendors to deliver business benefits through optimized use of Aalto university IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Management:

• End-to-end management of the Microsoft Power Platform, including Dynamics 365, ensuring delivery of expected benefits.
• Functional and technical solution lifecycle management.
• Opportunity identification, business requirements management, and road mapping.
• Leading solution architecture design and ensuring high-quality functional specifications.
• Solution documentation and knowledge management.

Stakeholder And Supplier Management:

• Stakeholder management and governance.
• Supplier management and support services.
• Active participation in technology providers' community.
• Business benefit realization follow-up and business case realization.

Quality, Compliance, And Data Privacy:

• Ensuring overall service quality within the area of responsibility.
• Guaranteeing data privacy and compliance, supporting stakeholders in considering data privacy aspects.
• Providing functional specifications to ensure high-quality delivery.

The position is based in Otaniemi, Espoo, Finland and will report to Head of Solutions for Joint Services

What we are looking for

Your experience and ambitions

You might be an accomplished expert in the area or a more junior with a “willing to learn and become an expert” attitude.

Required Skills:

Technical Proficiency:

• Microsoft Power Platform: Strong understanding of components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents).
• Cloud Services: Experience with Dynamics 365. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Office 365 would be a plus.

Development And Customization:

• Ability to design, develop, and implement custom solutions using the Power Platform.
• Programming Languages: Experience with JavaScript, C#, or .NET. are considered as an advantage
• API integrations and custom connector development experience.

Project Management:

• Strong project management skills, including managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Methodologies and Tools: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Ensuring compliance with data security and privacy regulations

Analytical Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensuring compliance with data security and privacy regulations

As your personal qualities

You have excellent social and cooperation skills, and you are able to communicate smoothly both with technical and business-minded co-workers and collaborators. You have an ability to influence others through your interactional skills and are able to sell your ideas to decision makers.

In order to succeed in our environment, you also need to be good in accommodating the various needs of different stakeholders, able to prioritize them and also further to communicate your views in diplomatic, yet confident manner. You should be able to endure uncertainty and handle confusing situations.

Aalto University is an international working environment, so we expect you to have an excellent command of English language. Finnish language skills are an advantage. An academic degree in a relevant field (e.g. information technology, information and service management or business administration) will also help you to succeed in this position.
