Position Overview:
Senior role focused on designing, implementing, and managing an organization's comprehensive data architecture, ensuring data integrity, security, and alignment with business goals. Master’s in professional discipline, typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Establishing operational plans for job area. Developing and implementing new products, processes, and standards or operational plans that will have an impact on the achievement of functional results. Requires communication with leadership.
Essential Responsibilities:

- Defining and supporting an organization's enterprise data architecture strategy, ensuring data governance, security, and compliance, and driving innovation in data management practices
10%
- Developing and supporting the enterprise data architecture strategy includes defining data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support AI, analytics, and other business needs

- Innovation – Promote and develop an AI (Artificial Intelligence) culture which embraces technology innovation. Stay up to date on current trends and emerging technology solutions. Suggest training opportunities for developers to ensure teams are prepared for the future. Support the modernization of technologies and solutions.

- Relationships – Partner with leaders across the organization in architecting, designing, development and delivery of the committed roadmap aligning to the strategy. Influence business and IT effectively challenging the legacy processes and practices.

- Vendor Product Assessments – Review score card templates and vendor evaluation matrix. Partner with vendors to plan upgrades and influence in the product roadmap.
Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
- Bachelors - Relevant Technical Field of Study
- 10+ year experience
- Understanding of business aims, processes, and strategies to align data solutions with organizational goals.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including IT teams and business units.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey data architecture concepts and strategies.
- Committed to protecting members, employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and seeking opportunities to improve our data security posture.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations, IT and Information Security framework.
- Advanced knowledge of REST principles, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and API strategy development.
- Experience in building data solutions in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google)
- Establish data governance and standards and drive data innovation
- Experience in managing all aspects of data architecture that involve the movement of data
Preferred Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
- Bachelor’s in computer science/Stats/Data Science
- Keep up current and future trends and advancements in AI, Machine Learning (ML) and other emerging technologies.
- Functional Banking/Financial Domain knowledge
Job Environment & Physical Requirements:
Hybrid expectations (min 2 to 3 days onsite
