Tele-Psychiatry CNA (69604)

Pay Range: $22-$28 per hour, depending on years of experience

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.   We are currently seeking a Full-time Day Tele-Psychiatry Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Western Correctional Institution (WCI) located in Cumberland, Maryland. 

Telepsychiatry CNAs work via telehealth equipment, observe and record symptoms, reactions and patient progress.  Assist physicians during treatments and examinations.  Provide direct patient care to include gathering subjective and objective information and other services to support patient care.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
• CNA licensure in Maryland required
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
