About The Position

Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry. Millions of people around the world use Dometic products in outdoor, residential, and professional applications. We are on a growth journey – now looking a new Logistic Coordinator for supporting our Mobile Cooking sub-segment.

The business unit ‘Mobile Cooking’ (MCK) has recently been formed within Dometic segment Standalone. It’s a renaming of the, in January 2022, acquired company CADAC and responsible for the development, marketing and sales of mobile cooking appliances and accessories. The Mobile Cooking products are mainly sold in the EMEA region.

This position is with the Mobile Cooking team in Duiven, The Netherlands (near the German border). You’ll find a close team of almost 30 members in an open and informal working setting.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistic Coordinator to oversee Order Management for our Asia-Europe Supply Chain. This role requires close collaboration with our MCK - China team, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners to ensure and monitor on time delivery. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to our logistics department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the relationship and performance of our E-fulfillment partner.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Order Management of the Asia-Europe Supply Chain:
  • o Ensure that purchase orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • o Maintain and update purchase orders in our ERP system.
  • o Ensure stock levels never out of stock items, create order proposals.
  • Act as the Link Between MCK-China Team, Seafreight Forwarder, and 3PL Party:
  • o Facilitate communication and coordination to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Monitor E-Fulfilment Stock and Replenish as Needed:
  • o Regularly check stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to meet demand.
  • Manage the Relationship with and Monitor the Performance of Our E-Fulfilment Partner:
  • o Foster a strong partnership and ensure high performance standards are met.
  • Assist with Data Capture and Prepare Reports for Management:

A suitable background would be the following in terms of qualifications and experiences:

  • At least Intermediate vocational education (MBO (+))
  • Relevant experience in an administrative role. (in supply chain is an advantage)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP is an advantage).
  • Extensive experience in order management - processing and monitoring orders.
  • Good process knowledge in logistics or supply chain (advantage).
  • Working knowledge of inventory management (advantage).
  • Extended knowledge of MS Excel
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Ability to work effectively with international teams.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks.
