Customer Account Specialist - On Site

C.H. Robinson is looking for an On-Site Customer Account Specialist to support one of our key customers.   You’ll deliver prompt, efficient customer service to both internal and external stakeholders while simultaneously ensuring operational excellence. This position demands a proactive approach to anticipating and meeting customer needs, as well as identifying and addressing gaps in internal processes. You will be seen as an extension of the customer by serving as a go-to operational expert managing tasks from load execution to after-hours setup. If you are a dynamic individual who can seamlessly blend exceptional customer service with meticulous operational support, driving both customer satisfaction and business success, this role may be for you.

This role will be based in Shepherdsville, KY.  We have two positions available with the following hours:

Mon - Fri 7:00am – 3:30pm or

Mon - Fri 3:00pm – 11:30pm

Duties And Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Build and develop relationships with customers to ensure continued partnership
• Communicate shipment updates proactively and accurately ensuring a customer centric approach
• Analyze customer inquiries and provide quality and timely insights and updates to your customers
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
• Respond to customers with a sense of urgency to provide an excellent customer experience
• Leverage C.H. Robinson’s global technology platform, Navisphere, to generate reports, analyze load data and exceed customer expectations
• Network internally with Account Management, Operations, and Capacity teams

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED 
• Previous Customer Engagement Experience
• Ability to travel up to 5% (domestically)

Preferred:

• Customer Engagement Experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) 
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem solving

Compensation Range

$17.69 - $36.73

The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by work location, which takes into account geographic cost of labor, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base pay only and do not include additional variable compensation.
