Our Global Luxury Operations HRBP and Employee Relations team is the look out for a brilliant HR Business Partner based in Italy (Milan), to support the team partnering with the Operations management for our Luxury Stores NET-A-PORTER, MR PORTER and MYTHERESA . Some of the essentials for you to know are:

- Reporting into: HR Director Technology, Operations & Employee Relations

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
Hr Business Partnering
- Supporting a wide range of HR topics across the assigned business units (Logistics and Studio, 200+ employee roughly, Italy based)
- Advise, coach and provide support to line managers in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures and best practice to ensure effective and consistent management of staff
- Giving support to employees on all HR matters
- Guarantee organization and associate updates in our internal tools and systems
- Coordinate the processes within the employee life cycle such as onboarding, internal mobility, promotions, change of hours, salary increases or off-boarding
- Manage the year-end process which includes advising managers on meritocracy and differentiation, performance evaluations, salary reviews and bonus planning
- Support the recruitment team in hiring processes across the assigned business unit
- Lead the development and improvement of local HR processes, systems and procedures
- Analyse Human Resources key metrics, utilizing data for process improvements
Employee Relations
- Supporting in the negotiation with Local Trade Unions and Company Trade Unions.
- Manage disciplinary actions and litigations
- Develop the capacity of line managers to manage a range of ER problems locally, developing management styles to foster positive working relationships with employees, minimising the occurrence of line management problems and issues and fostering a positive climate for ER activity
- Formulate and maintain effective and legally compliant HR / ER policies
- Support in managing a case load of challenging ER cases, supporting or leading investigations as and when required
- Acting as the first point of escalation for HR Advisors and Business Partners
- Support in the delivery of ER training to managers and employees
- Provide key insight and reporting to enable sound decisions to be made strategic level
The type of person we are looking for:
- Proven HR Business Partnering and ER experience within large, complex and unionised organizations
- Familiar with HR Administrative procedures and Reward metrics and flows (highly preferred)
- Preferable degree in Business Management, Economics, Labour Law or equivalent
- Data driven and analytical approach, with excellent knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience of leading, communicating, advising and consulting at Executive level and with Trade Unions
- Solid knowledge of Italian Employment Legislation (CCNL Commercio is highly preferred)
- Confidence and ability to conduct difficult and sensitive conversations with managers, and employees, both face-to-face and over the phone, showing compassion and empathy
- Ability to work on own initiative and manage own time effectively
- Team oriented, flexible and enthusiastic with a can-do approach
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of confidentiality
- Excellent standard of report writing and outstanding verbal skills
- Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory.
