About the Position: Loader/ Excavator Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Manual handling tasks of resource recovery and waste
• Forklift, Excavator Loader operation, assessing loads being delivered and carting of loads
• Landfill operator training will be provided to the successful candidate.
• Follow all procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
• Providing assistance in other area of the waste facility, such as the recycling drop off and waste transfer station sites
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Perform routine equipment checks and report issues

What We Are Looking For:

• You bring to the role your passion for maximising resource recovery
• A commitment to safe work practices, your friendly personality and are a team player
• A willingness to use your initiative and contribute to the success of the team.
• Experience in the waste or resource recovery industry is desirable
• Experience in plant and machinery operations is highly regarded
• A positive can-do attitude, enthusiastic and passionate about what you do

Qualifications And Experience

• Front end loader ticket required
• Excavator ticket required
• Forklift ticket highly regarded
• Ability to adhere to safe work practices
• Holds a current Construction White Card (desirable)
