Your Role
As a new Lead Civil Engineer, you'll be a vital part of the our growing Water team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works in South East Queensland. Our team works on a range of medium, large and major projects for the Queensland water market and the broader ANZ market, focusing on providing feasibility, concept and detailed designs for government agency clients as well as contractor partners.
What you’ll be doing
As a Lead Civil Engineer joining our QLD Water Team, you will be responsible for providing advanced leadership in civil engineering for municipal water & wastewater, guiding a portfolio of infrastructure projects. Your contributions will focus on delivering sustainable, efficient, and innovative solutions for the complex challenges faced by water & wastewater systems across Brisbane, Greater Brisbane, and the Sunshine Coast Region.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and national regulatory frameworks (such as Seqcode, WSA and AS) through the diligent application of relevant standards in all phases of water and wastewater management.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise state-of-the-art modelling tools and data analytics to assess system performance, identify optimisation opportunities, and formulate cost-effective solutions for infrastructure improvements and resilience.
- Sustainable Solutions Development: Champion initiatives that incorporate sustainable engineering practices into water and wastewater design.
We know today's complex challenges can only be solved through bringing together diverse teams of people from across our business, so there will be opportunities for you to apply your skills and creativity to projects in other geographies and markets.
